Job Description
• Directs subordinates daily activities, resolves problems, answers questions, assigns and prioritizes work.
• Performs staffing and resource planning by scheduling resources and monitoring process on a day by day basis, redeploying resources as needed.
• Develops employees through coaching and counselling, directing assignments, planning and directing training activities.
• Prepares internal reporting through formalized reports for internal use on a regular basis. Compiles and shares performance and key measurement reports.
• Performs Ad Hoc Analysis by collecting, analyzing, organizing and reporting information in relation to a specific issue, problem or inquiry. Provides interpretive and predictive information to make future business performance assessments and capital investment decisions.
• Performs strategic planning. Assists and/or determines organization, unit and company goals and strategies.
• Provides employee relations in accordance with organizational policies and practices. Maintains employee files, distributes information and announcements, conducts regular department meetings.
• Prepare/Deliver Training. Provides formal instruction to further develop awareness, behavioral change, or technical skills.
• Time reporting of subordinates including generation, collection, reviewing and correcting time, and entering off duty time. Run reports and investigates issues as necessary.
• Provides technical support answering detailed questions about production techniques, product specs. production equipment and new methodologies.
Required:
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience: 2-5 years
Knowledge: Must have knowledge of management fundamentals; knowledge of products, equipment, and procedures are very helpful
Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and prioritization skills necessary.
Abilities: Ability to prioritize and delegate work necessary, meet deadlines, maintain standards, and establish a safe and productive work environment.
