Job Description:

In this position you will build, maintain and drive technical support of production application requests for the organization. You will work with various groups in the IT organization to implement key processes to meet business goals and expectations. This role will also be responsible for managing a budget and provide oversight to technical support responsibilities.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for the tactical direction and team performance for the technical support organization.
- Coordinate and manage internal resources and 3rd party vendor across multiple production support activities for all company technologies and platforms.
- Create and maintain support standards and processes to optimize expectations that meet or exceed corporate SLA's and IT goals.
- Define, mature and implement key process and procedures: Incident management, incident severity, escalation channels, etc.
- Partner with IT teams to ensure optimum integration of process and systems.
- Evaluate internal/external development resources and 3rd party tools to determine the best solutions for future growth and staffing.
- Participate in defining strategic direction of quality services, enterprise contract negotiation and setting goals for the technical support organization.
- Scope and plan support activities, keeping resources on schedule and budget.
- Participate in Annual Planning, Forecasting, Performance Management and Vendor Relationship.
Required:
- Bachelors degree in IT or technical discipline
- 10+ years relevant work experience
- 3+ years of experience in managing teams
- Demonstrated leadership skills in a growth environment creating an organization that embraces change, innovation, decentralized decision making and risk taking in a constantly changing environment
- Strategic thinker with a blend of technical and creative skills, the ability to think, react, learn and act quickly, and demonstrated ability to deliver results
- Experience with industry standard frameworks e.g. ITIL - incident management, change management, etc
- Experience leading, driving and implementing offshore support models.
- Experience with multiple platforms and technologies. Including but not limited to: C#, XML, Java Script, CSS and HTML
- Consumer-facing ecommerce platforms, and websites
