Job Description:

This role is the highest level position at a manufacturing site. It is responsible for site success through lean manufacturing, value stream processing, and proper team management. The Site Leader is responsible for establishing and sustaining a Lean culture at a site and sharing resources and success across the enterprise. They will support all Fulfillment and Enterprise goals in collaboration with the Internal Fulfillment VP, Site Leaders, Value Stream Owners, Fulfillment Shared Support, Finance, IT and HR to ensure strategies are delivered.


Accountabilities:

- Deploy and execute strategic plan at a manufacturing operations site.
- Responsible for achievement of enterprise and fulfillment metrics for site.
- Strong interaction with other manufacturing sites to identify and implement best practices. Responsible for sharing resources for enterprise gain above site achievement when needed.
- Responsible for allocating talent and capacity resources to achieve goals and leverage continuous improvement opportunities.
- Partner with the Fulfillment Support Services to identify and attain support roles needed for site success.
- Create and sustain a culture to support lean initiatives and promotes the lean certification process.
- Responsible for maximum profitability of the site through lean applications and effective planning/monitoring of the budget.
- Responsible for overall performance management and linking individual and team performance to enterprise and fulfillment goals.
- Responsible for talent management of team coaches to drive decision-making to front line and encourage innovative process improvements.
- Responsible for oversight of succession planning and staff development.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws, policies and company practices. Models and inspires Deluxe Shared Values at all times.

Required:

- Bachelors or College Diploma in a relevant discipline, e.g. Engineering, Business Management
- 5+ years relevant work experience in manufacturing/lean
- Demonstrated track record of driving for action and results
- Possess excellent team building, training and facilitation skills
- True team player with ability to influence and effectively lead diverse initiatives; true coach and mentor.
- Capable of building information networks – stimulating information flow and best practices across the enterprise
- Analytical and innovative thinker with proven project management skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task projects and assignments to attain highest potential result
- Committed to continuous improvement through empowerment and drive decision-making to appropriate positions
- Committed to managing by facts and data-driven decisions
