Accountabilities:
- Manage the accounting and finance functions to include Sourced Accounts Payable, Bank Waiver Billing and Distributor Accounting.
- Responsible for the accounting close process in support of all channel accounting operations.
- Understand the changing business requirements and strategic direction of the Safeguard channel, integrate all BAM acquisitions into Accounting Operations with a focus on internal controls and efficiency.
- Continuous Process Improvement: Recommend and implement process improvements. Identify areas that provide low value and work to reallocate resources to provide more meaningful information for business support. Find efficiencies in the processes and ensure there is documentation for all significant processes.
- Through robust and adaptable internal controls, ensure accuracy of through robust and adaptable internal controls, ensure accuracy of.
- Partner with OTC and AP financial shared services managers to ensure operations are clearly understood, reported and aligned with channel acounting operations.
- Team Leadership: Continue to drive finance transformation and SB finance team into a high-performing, high-impact team. Proactively manage career development of direct reports. Utilize Deluxe performance management processes and leadership tools as they are intended.
Required:
- MBA in Accounting/Operations
- 15 years of relevant work experience in business/accounting/finance
