Job Description

The successful candidate will work within Demand Generation team to help marketing drive revenue with differentiated and engaging programs and messaging. The right candidate will bring a combination of experience using data to support B2B lead generation strategy and event driven marketing. Candidate will work with analytics and marketing team members to identify opportunities and facilitate execution through integrated marketing initiatives. Execution of the plans includes development/implementation of email and direct mail campaigns, event-driven marketing automation, lead scoring, and campaign flow analysis using ROI, lead and customer metrics.
Accountabilities:
- Partner with Demand Generation Core Team for input and alignment on campaign strategy and requirements
- Deploy list extraction and campaign flows through marketing automation platform
- Conduct campaign & channel analysis to assist with the development of marketing concepts
- Collaborate with Demand Generation Program Manager in project planning of marketing campaigns; propose hypotheses and prioritize testing strategy according to potential for greatest revenue impact
- Support measurement and monitoring of funnel activity from top-of-funnel to win (end-to-end reporting)
- Continuous improvement of analytical and contact databases through ongoing team collaboration
- Recommend adjustments to marketing plan to ensure continued effectiveness based on marketing performance management
- Assess effectiveness of marketing activities by analyzing results of campaigns, providing recommendations for improvement and initiating modifications to various aspects of campaign planning and execution
- Utilize targeting knowledge for identifying prospect and customer list requirements and utilize SQL skills to download and manage information for upload into CRM and Marketing Automation Platform
- Develop a reporting/documentation framework for evaluating effectiveness and campaign test analysis results; collaborate with business to apply learnings to future campaigns
- Manage assigned budget and monthly forecasting
Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, Mathematics or Statistics
- 4 years relevant work experience in relational database and marketing environment
- Ownership responsibilities include, list management, A/B split testing, and financial analysis within a marketing automation framework like Marketo, Eloqua or Pardot and within a relational database environment like Microsoft or Oracle SQL Server.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data from multiple sources and in a relational database environment. Flexible in challenging data management situations; ability to influence data governance decisions and navigate any deviations in initial planning. Self-motivated, ability to drive and run programs independently. Personable with strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly communicate concepts to marketing personnel, and tailor presentation material to the audience. Very strong business acumen, with ability to position strategy, communicates objectives and effectively negotiates outcomes with business leaders and program interfaces.
- Execution - strong project management skills including a demonstrated ability to work to deadlines and juggle multiple tasks and projects
- Demonstrated exposure to using data to provide business clarity and guidance around marketing strategy and programs
Making achievements as a team and fostering collaboration among the team, including sales support via a CRM system like Salesforce.com
- Demonstrated ability to gather and compare data from different sources to propose alternatives
- Passionate about learning; can show how newly gained knowledge and skill can be applied on the job
- Generating innovative approaches in work situations; trying different and novel ways to deal with work problems and opportunities
- Passionate about messaging to the right person at the right time with the right offer; a demonstrated understanding of B2B customer lifecycle management
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Experience supporting product management or marketing through analysis and project management
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and SQL Server querying, reporting and stored procedures

- Some familiarity with an automated reporting tool
